Emma Logan

Emma Logan is a Legal Assistant I at Shepherd Elder Law, where she brings a strong foundation in patient care, organization, and precision to support attorneys in delivering compassionate and effective legal services. Before transitioning into the legal field, Emma spent several years as a Lead Dental Assistant, most recently at Lawrence Oral and Facial Surgery, where she oversaw surgical inventory, managed clinical workflows, and provided patient-focused care in high-pressure environments.

Emma is currently pursuing her Paralegal Certification at Johnson County Community College,
building on her bachelor’s degree in political science from Emporia State University. With a background that includes both healthcare and administrative experience, Emma is known for her calm demeanor, reliability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.

Originally from the Old Town neighborhood of Olathe, KS and a graduate of Olathe North High School, Emma now lives in Lawrence with her partner of four years, Trevon, and their two beloved cats, Justin and Wilbur. A lifelong fan of fantasy novels, movies, and TV shows, a passion nurtured by her father, Emma also shares a love of British crime dramas, particularly the works of Agatha Christie, with her mother. Her parents also passed on a deep appreciation for cooking and exploring cuisines from around the world. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, playing video games, experimenting in the kitchen, playing board games, and going on adventures with her best friend Erin.
