Caroline Schumann

Caroline Schumann joined our team in 2021 as a Legal Intern. Caroline grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Arkansas. Here, she majored in Political Science and International Studies with a focus in Latin American Politics. Before she moved to Kansas City for law school, she lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for six months to work in the Grand Teton mountains. Now she attends law school at the University of Missouri- Kansas City, she is involved in the Estate Planning Club and the Career Center. In her free time she likes to play tennis and card games with her family and complete puzzles.

She is currently in her second year of law school with a goal to graduate in December of 2022. Her focus is in Estate Planning and Financial Technology, she was awarded the Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium Conference scholarship in the spring of 2021. To further her knowledge, she also is enrolled in financial technology courses through Harvard. As a child, she grew up going on an annual Grandma Tour with her mom, brother, aunt, and cousin. They would visit their grandparents and great-grandparents all over Missouri and Illinois. Getting to hear their stories and helping them over the years inspired her to pursue a career in elder law.
