Beth Landau
Beth Landau joined SEL in May of 2024 as an Executive Assistant to Samantha Shepherd and brings a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to her role. With a solid foundation in business administration and management, Beth has demonstrated exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities throughout her career.
Prior to joining our team, Beth served as an Executive Administrator and Marketing Manager at PrairieFood, where she honed her administrative expertise and played a pivotal role in supporting the executive team and company growth initiatives. Her responsibilities included managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, managing marketing strategies, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
In her role as Senior Receptionist Trainer at Ruby, Beth excelled in the legal field, where she trained and mentored new receptionists, ensuring they were equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence contributed to the high standards of service and professionalism upheld by the company.
Growing up in rural Kansas, Beth has a lifelong passion for agriculture and has experience in row-crop and cattle production. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to become the owner of Bar-V Beef, LLC, a venture that allowed her to showcase her business acumen and managerial skills.
As the owner, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, from operations and finance to customer relations and marketing. This experience provided her with a comprehensive understanding of business management and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
Beth’s academic background includes coursework focused on business administration at Kansas State University, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Human Relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Beth has also devoted many hours to community development and promoting local tourism in the Kansas City area. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family, her Corgi, “Annie”, cake decorating, hiking, and exploring the country by horseback.
